I had TravelPro but wheels broke off. Did not abuse, just normal usage and wheels broke after about 10.., maybe less trips. Checking Bloomingdale, sale price is $390, normally $920 for Platinum Elite 21" Expandable Spinner. WTF, are they making them out of platinum? I got cheaper ones from Costco too. I guess I will stick with cheap stuff that last much longer.
Wheels breaking off luggage is a real common problem. If all else fails, put a piece of fiberglass paneling in the bottom (light weight but not going to set off metal detectors) then replace with whatever type of high quality wheels you want - rivet or bolt through to the fiberglass panel.
