The Monoprice website shows the normal price at $399.99. (i.e. a 15% markdown) I'm not sure how that translates into a retail value of $500... On the other hand, free shipping for something like this is pretty amazing.

I bought this is like $250, been using for awhile, so far not complain, I think it is on sale now after coupon like $220, pretty sturdy build.
