Before I begin the description is incorrect - the deal is for the Intel i7-8565U i7 not the i5.
Even so it doesn't matter - I just don't see this as a deal at all - the system is based on the now OLD 8th generation i7 and while it's no doubt good construction and pretty good performance (I have the i5 8th gen and it's pants for anything but light work), a lot has happened since. So sure it has a nice big 1Gb SSD and 40GB RAM, but time moves on - the new AMD CPUs (4500U, 4700U 4800 etc) for example just dropped a couple of months back and even the lower end laptops with these CPUs are really kicking it with really impressive performance / price gains - plus 1GB SSDs have come way down... so even though the "deal" is a significant discount off the original MSRP, for an impressive laptop of it's time, it's not a deal by today's price and current hardware..... better IMHO to shop around for newer models which I suggest you could get better performing, better equipped for less money all day every day.
