I bought this speakers and returned them due to there is no ON/OFF switch. They stay on, and I could hear a hiss sound when I turned my computer off. But, they do sound good. if it wasn't for that, I would've kept them.
I've owned these in the past and for the price they are unbeatable. Do not expect audiophile quality sound but for rock or gaming they rock and they are better than most with other music. The next step up from these are powered studio monitors at better than twice the price.
I never had the hiss problem but there are a couple of ways to address the problem if you do have that problem. If it's a ground fault then use a three into two converter plug. That removes the ground fault as a possibility. Or, You could just plug it into a power strip and switch off the power strip when you go to bed.
There's a reason Klipsch has been making these for at least 15 years. They are good speakers and being fully analog they are not laden with electronics that might be obsolete next year.
The only downside to them is they take up a considerable amount of space for computer speakers. If you have room and can position the sub where it is most effective, then you will enjoy them.
Love them, but i wish they had an on/off switch. I worked around it by plugging them into a power strip and flip the switch off whenever I want to turn them off.
