Check professional reviews too.... People posting personal reviews on store websites tend to be biased and wishy-washy

My smaller, not smart, Element has been fine for several years so far.

Actually, I've not yet had a flat panel tv fail on me lo these ten+ years of slowly acquiring them.

Big cheap garbage is still garbage no matter. It's not the size but how long it lasts. My Sheckel's Lives Matter long term too.

Was lucky to get one of these for my daughter. She won't be hogging my paltry 60" tv anymore! :)

I see everyone downgrading this TV I have the 65-inch Element tv from last year, I posted previously it's an excellent TV for the price. I don't know why you're acting like you're going to get A Sony Bravia for 300 bucks on Black Friday 70 inch.

At least it has Roku built in, and not the slower Android popular on the low end TVs.

Element should be an okay brand. The Roku built in is what gives it value. at this price, it is definitely a steal!

While it's somewhat a shot in the dark, I'd expect something like this to have around 15K hours lifetime based on my past experiences with budget grade TVs and monitors, many of which I've repaired over the years.

That estimate drops if in a room with high ambient temperatures or located where there is insufficient ventilation. Heat over time, causes capacitor failure in the budget displays.

Granted, historical anecdotes from multiple year old sets, even the low end, are about displays that cost way more per sq. inch than this does.
