Alexa voice assistant is useful for answers to general questions and certain FireTV functions. But the idea of talking to an AI assistant for every way we interact with technology is not first nature. And when people do try to interact, the results are not always favorable, meaningful or anything more than a novelty. AI's like Alexa are fun and entertaining but their usefulness is dependent upon every individual's understanding of functionality, user's persistence with the voice commands, and the AI's ability to adapt to the various terms that may be commanded by the user. This requires lots of effort for everyone and therefore doesn't get past the novelty or simple command functionality. In time, interactions may be more fruitful and intuitive as not only the technology becomes more capable but the users become more knowledgeable.

I like Alexa because it/she can be very helpful, if you know how to use it/her at maximum. You can program different pieces of equipment around the house (TV, radio, IP camera, IoT etc) to communicate with Alexa.
