These batts get hot during recharge. Don't have problems with Pana & Ikea batts.

Something about ratio of positive and negative electrodes (and size) determines the capacity and with these higher capacity cells, you start to develop high IMR, which causes more heat charging, and makes them then less suitable for high discharge rate as well. Plus they're EBL. ;)
