Any idea what's inside and if it is worth it to shuck to use as an internal drive in a RAID-5 array and/or NAS? Worth it? Or a PITA due to drive type, pin modification, etc.?
All required blocking of SATA power pin #3 after shucking, it's a 2-minutes procedure. I did it, after trying some fancy variants, by regular masking tape. No problems so far.
