172.99 for me. 130 is/was a fantastic price on this BRIGHT, clear, HD 3D headset. HDMI I’m allows you to hookup your phone, laptop, even the cable box to it if you weren’t too smart. Smallish viewport compared with newer sets, but this unique headset style viewer is perfect for me.
↑ I think that the reasons for buying either are completely different. My main reason for buying this is to watch 3D and other movies from any 'box' that has an HDMI output. So far I am very pleased with the visuals and especially the sound quality. They are great sounding headphones.
They're far from perfect, but at $130 you can forgive a lot of flaws. The biggest disappointment to me is that they're unable to downscale 1080p content; they only support 720p and 480p. I don't like the bulk of the ear cups, which are not sufficiently adjustable. This set is not for people with wide heads! I was worried the field of view would be too narrow, but it's very enjoyable. 3D looks great, especially if you can get frame packed content. Overall, a good purchase if you fly a lot. Compared to other goggles I own (Goovis Cinego) I actually like the fact that they do not isolate you as much.
