Most of the questions are answered by saying that this is a cheap Chinese knockoff from a item originating from Kickstarter. Might want to do some research for quality for your own sake and safety.

Whether this breaks any Moki patents or not, I cannot say, but merely being a clone of something else does not necessarily mean it is lesser quality in a significant way. It looks like something I could build in my garage if i had a piece of plate aluminum and a router or sabre saw and patience.
