I was on the fence and picked one up. SOO glad I did. I love this thing! You have to get the extension cords for the controllers though.

Totally agree with BarryK. If you're slightly technically savvy, you can get an entire raspberry pie kit with USB SNES controllers, and a SNES looking case for this price. You'll be able to play all the SNES games you want plus a buttload of other games with emulators (NES, Genesis, Gameboy, etc....)

MAME is EXACTLY the same as whatever is being emulated. That's the beauty of it. It's so configurable... But I completely agree with bradleyb1, it does take some tech savvy and a lot or patience. But to the patient goes the spoils.

Do your research, checkout some people's MAME cabinet/box builds.
