Zojirushi is a known good brand but "Tiger" brand is mostly made in japan. It is hit and miss with Zojirushi being china made. For same price go with made in Japan.

I have a similar Zojirushi model. It's nice looking, does what it's supposed to, etc ... but I find the interior and top lid are so stupid hard to clean that I don't use it anymore.

@MajorMeatWad - Zojirushi as well as Tiger make products in both Japan and China. Zojirushi makes their lower end models, such as what is sold in Costco, in China, but the higher end stuff is made in Japan. This model is made in Japan.
