Naw, dood, you want to transfer everything on to this so you can unplug the HDD entirely. Your PC will be quieter, produce less heat, and use less electricity. Depending upon your climate and situation, the reduced heat generation might reduce your A/C bill, and maybe even make this purchase pay for itself, given enough time. But that will definitely never happen if you leave the HDD plugged in and spinning away your money.
