At this price, yes, for storing games if you can't afford a large capacity SSD. Seagate is mostly the main player in the SSHD consumer area and these drives do include 5 years of warranty.
One thing to note is that the platter/rotational portion of the drive spins at 5,400rpm in the 2.5" (this drive), while the 3.5" version spins at 7,200rpm (but the 3.5" is rarely ever on sale).
I had one in my laptop for a while. It was faster than the spinning HDD it replaced, but it was slightly heavier and seemed to consume more power. Those two combined made my laptop not quite as good. Later replaced it with a real 2TB SSD and made my laptop oh so much better in all aspects.
Unfortunately, the extra power consumption may have taxed my laptop's internal power supply circuitry. My RAM died a while back, and since replacing that (under warranty, thankfully), I now experience spontaneous reboots when running under heavy load.
So yeah... At the time, I was pleased with my Seagate FireCuda 2TB. But now I'd recommend just keep saving up to buy a full SSD. It'll be a lot better: faster, lighter weight, less power consumption.
