This 2nd gen has 7 hours of music which is hug.
Alos, you get 4GB of onboard song memory as a stand alone.
The bluetooth cuts the battery life to 5 hours and you can connect to your phone or outside speaker, etc.
If you are a runner then you will love these. You "cannot" knock them out of your ears. Best fit of any of these guys!
