Granted, the free tools are mostly "tool only" so for the extra $30 you get 2Ah more (2 x 3Ah batteries instead of 1 x 4Ah), and a bag, but the 3Ah batteries are the newer design with additional electrical contacts for enhanced performance from their brushless tools. (* over another pack with same # of cells, if contrasting a 3Ah 5x cell pack vs a 4Ah 10x cell pack, don't expect much increase, paralleled cells can deliver more current due to that).
They also have their larger 6 gallon vac as part of that promo.
