I have this same vac with the detailing kit. I bought it to replace a much larger wet vac. This one is compact but still has good power.

This is an excellent shop vac, I have owned mine for a dozen years and it handles everything I have thrown at it. I recommend buying a second filter so you can shop vac your filter when it gets dirty. Using this method, I have never lost suction, and the filters have lasted through so many nasty jobs for the entire time I have owned this. Also, I recommend the muffler accessory. It drops the noise substantially, but the power difference is negligible.
