"Stay away from PNY flash," is my motto after getting bamboozled by their 128GB microSD card. Gets hot and spontaneously drops connection when attempting to make largish sustained writes.

This PNY Elite-X Fit USB drive doesn't look any better, judging by all the 1-star reviews of it at :

I've had some PNY Elite micro SD cards. They ran hot and died. I second staying away from PNY.
