hmm.. amazon boxes? maybe in the past, but might not always be the case anymore. sometimes amazon just slaps a shipping label on the product or product box vs using amazon shipping box on some orders.
Interesting comments. Nothing useful, as usual. So let me post a few comments that might actually be relevant to a consumer. I have one of these storage containers. Bought it on sale about 7 years ago. At first it sat out in a Rubbermaid outdoor shed baking in the South Florida heat. For the past couple of years I keep it in the back seat of my truck, once again baking in the So. Fla. heat, because it provides great storage for a few tools and emergency items, it is easy to move in and out of the truck, and it rolls easily. More importantly, after all these years in the heat, no warping, no cracks, nothing wrong with it. I was about to order another one at 25 dollars until my wife reminded me we had another container at our summer home. So yes, I believe you will feel the 25 was well spent if you need this sort of thing.
Got mine today. Pretty good box. Not flimsy but I wouldn't sit on it. It will keep the rain out but don't drop it overboard! :-) 4 latches with a hinge on one side. I'm glad I bought it. Definitely worth $25.
I've used one of these strapped down in the bed of my UTV for years now. Keeps everything dry but like someone else said -- Don't dump it overboard. It has taken a beating in the woods for years and has no cracks or warps. This is a great price.
