Why pay this when I get as much from Verizon (except unlimited DVR) for $50 per month on top of my 1 Gb internet?

Youtube TV stopped supporting local fox sports stations this week if you care about baseball or basketball. For example, fox sports san diego is gone now

Do you have to watch the commercials on DVR recordings, or can you fast-forward over them? Skipping over commercials is the only reason I still have a TiVo.

YTTV has an unlimited DVR which has the ability to FF past commercials. IMHO it has the best DVR I've ever used.

It feels like their offering has become quite expensive. Of course quite a bit of this could be programming cost but they shouldn't have the hardware and legacy costs of the large cable / satellite providers yet their price is about the same.

After thinking about this offer, it seems to me that an
Amazon
Fire Stick with the YTTV app is a better deal. Fire Stick is $25 on sale, the app is free. The Fire Stick has a lot more capability than the Chromecast.

I don't see the value in this for $65...There's already way too much content & only enough time in one day. Give me Pluto & Prime and I'm all set.

TV shows I watched on prime just a few years ago for free are now filled with commercials. If it wasn't for free shipping, it would be a real ripoff!
