They are not illegal. They are selling valid keys that are no longer attached to a PC. It's like selling a music CD, it's illegal to copy it and sell it, but not if you sell the actual CD. there's nothing wrong with selling your valid legal copy of Windows10. They can easily obtain these licenses by obtaining non-working laptops/PC's form large companies. Each PC has a valid/legal Win10 license which they now own. They sell them for $10 since they OWN that copy of Win10 that came with the PC.

Cannot believe Ben’s Bargains bends over to this level.

These are clearly fraudulent keys.

If you believe you’re above board using these keys, I dare you to contact Microsoft and ask them.

I have purchased quite a few WIn10 keys from SCDKeys and they have all worked for years now. I have even swapped out a motherboard requiring the PC to be re-activated, had to call MSFT and zero problems. I am not saying this site is legit but these types of deals have always worked for me.

Nice, though all our computers, that didn't already come with windows 10, came with valid windows 7 license that I used to upgrade each one to windows 10 for no cost. All the upgrades went fine. I did most as clean installs, but some were in-place upgrades.

KeysWorlds has nice TOS. Unlike
Amazon
, for example, which makes lost shipments your problem, then returns at your risk, too. Not KeysWorlds! I ordered a key, but how do I get the software? Is that what KeysWorlds is shipping? Invoice is not clear. I don't see where Microsoft lets you download Windows 10 pro for free. (minus key, of course)

I'm just laughing at some of the arguments here. So, out of curiosity, I bought a key (I can afford the $10 loss). When examined, the key I received turned out to activate as a retail key, not as an OEM or VLK key. If you want to check what kind of key you have on your machine, open a Windows command prompt window and issue the following command: slmgr -dli

If they are selling retail keys, it almost certainly means that they are utilizing a key generator to generate the keys. It isn't possible to sell full on retail keys for $10 each, and it is a violation of the Microsoft retail license to sell keys only without the packaging and COA. They definitely aren't selling keys recovered from PCs, as those would activate as various forms of OEM keys (or might not even activate, if they were already tied to a prior motherboard/CPU since you can't reactivate OEM keys on new hardware).

It is also telling that you can't even find the Win10 product link by using their site search - unless you have the exact URL, you can't even find it for sale on the site. The fact that they are going to that length to hide this (and the Office keys) from their own site search shows that they know what they are doing isn't legal. Further, software isn't a physical product but is a legal license with restrictions on transfer. "Selling your property" arguments don't apply to it.

This is an outright scam. I bought a key, it wouldn't work, and of course came with no Certificate of Authenticity or anything. I contacted them immediately, and they asked me to send screenshots. I did, so they sent me some instructions for how to go through Powershell and attempt activation. I did that without success. They then sent me another key. It didn't work either.

The one positive I will say is they immediately refunded my money when I told them they were running a scam.

I got my Win7 Pro key from them years ago. One year I needed to reformat/reload, and the key I was using didn't work on the reload, but when I emailed them, telling them what I was doing, they just sent me a new code and it worked fine. So I feel they do stand behind their sale.

If you have a valid Windows7 or later key, you can upgrade to windows 10 for free straight from Microsoft's website. Unless you are making a new computer I don't see why you even need this.
In the last week alone I have upgraded 7 systems which had windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit versions) from the free disk downloaded from Microsoft's website.

Hey Bens Bargains - why do you continue to post this one? It's so clearly a scam, as evidenced by the comments. Are you getting a cut of the profits here, or does this vendor pay you to advertise or something?
