Amazon has the previous generation Kindle Paperwhite 3 High Resolution Touchscreen Display (300 ppi) 4GB Wi-Fi 6" e-Reader with Special Offers, Black ("7th Generation" 2015 model) on sale for $80 with free shipping.

BTW, the new Kindle Paperwhite 4 ("10th generation" 2018 model) sells for $130, but is now waterproof and has 8GB storage. Same resolution, though.

Why is the Kindle Paperwhite 4 called "10th gen" and what happened to the other two generations between it and the last Paperwhite? Amazon counts the other Kindles as generations, so the 2017 Kindle Oasis is "9th Gen" and the vanilla 2016 Kindle is "8th Gen."
