As a daily espresso drinker for many years... I do NOT recommend this one, for several reasons. Go with Bialetti. Costs a little bit more, but worth every cent. Not because I'm a brand snob. I actually bought this one several months ago and have tried so many times to give it another chance but it disappoints every time. The Bialetti will last forever, you just need to replace the rubber gasket once a year or so.

The "better" types are stainless steel as they offer better heat retention and less dissipation.
With this one you need to apply heat slowly as the aluminium on bottom is pretty thin. If you brew it too quickly, you'll risk burning the ground coffee..
