Good price on this, and useful for changing a tire at night.  However, this model requires you to put a piece of electrical tape on the bottom of the large beam cover so the glare doesn't hit you in the face.

I used a few models of headlamps in the past, in my experience it's better to buy a headlamp with a strap on top so it's more stable when you are wearing it. This may matter less for doing work at home etc but when you are outdoors and the situation gets difficult every detail matters.

For this price you should be able to get a Cree (T6) system on
eBay
with 18650 batteries included (a far superior option IMO)

^ One issue with the typical high powered generics is the elastic is thin, weak junk. If your head is medium sized or larger you may find the elastic is shot after only a few uses, or after some time just sitting on a shelf oxidizing away.

You can get better elastic at a fabric store or
Amazon
, etc. but by the time you go to the effort and extra expense, they don't seem like a great value any longer.
