Note that is is the "old" XPS13. Dell now has a "new XPS" with 10th Gen Core CPUs and much faster memory. However, at nearly 1/2 price this is still a pretty good deal. Dell XPS laptops are very nice indeed. They have some of the best displays around.
This is the cheapest way to get a 4K touch display right now. If that is your thing, it's a great deal
The XPS is a premium machine. That Lenovo is cheap junk. It's an IdeaPad, which are made of cheap plastic which breaks with a bit of use. It has a dated full HD display. In Lenovo's lineup, ThinkPads are parallel to the XPS series in terms of quality.
I'd buy the XPS if I could get it with 16gb RAM. Aside from RAM, it seems perfect, but that's a showstopper.

Here is a faster / cheaper Lenovo with a 10th Gen i7 at Office Depot for $550 + tax. Not fancy, but good specs.
