Even dd-wrt can't save the horrific from this brand. Same with Linsh** and Netgear nightmare.

^ I've had no problems with my DIR-882, running DD-WRT. Got it as a warehouse item, only issue was a scuffed up box. The USB3 port speeds are slow, closer to USB2 but I can live with that since it's not my primary network storage.

You may just put in another $30 and get a warehouse deal Asus rock solid AC1900.

^ My DIR-***2 is rock solid, does everything i need and then some due to running DD-WRT, so why pay double for the Asus when it doesn't even support as high a wifi standard at AC1900?
