I don't know if the rebate is worth mailing in for, but the cooler itself is worth $10. I wasn't able to find a review which talked about the dual loop patented heatpipe, but most of the reviews are quite favorable. . Most reviewers said it was quiet. The 4 contacts on the mounting surface make me think that this is supposed to be the equivalent of a 4 heatpipe cooler
It's good. The issue starts with intel newer architecture. Like any Intel CPU with clock over 3.8ghz will start have high temps.
I never tested these on Ryzen. But they do not work on AM3 and FM2 They don't cover the platter enough. Fm2 I was getting 48-65 degrees+ am3 not as hot but it won't work on quad cores.
This cooler good for most Intel's before gen 6. I3-7100 sure i3-8100 maybe All pentiums. Some i5s.
That's just my testing, using these for years and years
