Apparently the answer is "no," based upon my review of the questions/answers on the product page. The lid ("Cambro (RFSC6PP190) Cover for 6 & 8 qt Round Containers") can be had for another $5.65 on For the price of a lid, you could buy 1.6189111747851 of the containers...
Heh... no lid. I guess you could use it for DIY oil changes if not scalding hot since the PP melting point is somewhere between 130C and 171C, though it might get pretty flimsy heated up.
Come to think of it, I've done oil change drains into a big rectangular water bottle before that was HDPE, an even lower melting point plastic and thinner material, and it worked out fine though it had a spigot to transfer the oil into sealable containers for recycling.
