Wireless is ok but isn't as consistent as wired. There have been times when the signal goes static a bit.

I've also had a few times when the screen shows someone else's camera while in traffic or someone's surveillance camera in a neighborhood. Still, it's better than not having any backup camera in an older vehicle.
