why on earth do we need a touchscreen toaster? isn't it just one more electronic to "go bad"? seems the current toaster without a touchscreen has been doing just fine for past umteen years! :)
It’s no screen. That’s BS. A timer and 3 buttons. But I enjoy seeing the actual digital countdown vs just some pretty vague / light—dark knob. Plus $25. There are toasters out there with a full tablet built in. That seems excessive.
This looks impressive compared to my 60 year old Toastmaster toaster with the light/dark knob, but I doubt it will last as long.
Electronics in appliances are great until they fail, then the average person can't DIY repair it, too expensive if there are even parts to have someone else repair it, so it goes in a landfill.
