^ Heh, yeah these small, inexpensive tankless heaters aren't suited for whole-premises use, more like dedicated to one of your most used faucets that takes forever to get hot water from a tank heater because of the !@#$ water saver faucet. The thing is, that means you have to run the power up to near where the faucet is or else you're still waiting a while for hot water.
It states as much too, quote "Designed for a SINGLE sink application in moderate to warm climates (NOT for cold climates with inlet water less than 51° F)", so if I were putting this in a cold climate I would run it on the hot water line after a tank heater if the tank was far away, so the water already sitting in the line would be above the exterior water line temperature already so less temperature differential to overcome.
Doing that might also allow setting the tank water heater to a lower temperature so for faucets that don't need very hot water it's more of a buffer from the exterior line temperature.
Often I waste more water waiting for it to get hot, than the amount of water really needed once hot. Low flow faucets for the win! (NOT !!)
