I really only want this if I'm able to hook up my nintendo classic to it. Been searching around the internet but not having much luck finding a good guide. Any pointers?
You would be better off dedicating an older or inexpensive pc to setting up MAME, than you would be by trying to create an interface between any other device and this thing. It's going to be costly and frustrating. Look into MAME

I remember seeing controller mods in Hakchi that allowed other controllers. I know retroarch (built in hakchi) also had controller mods that can be adjusted per game. Ive installed it on 3 classics and I'm thrilled with the builds. I reflashed the classics dozens of times and never had an issue. It took me 4 months to finalize my classic. I ended up with 10 systems installed using a 32gb memory stick and adapter cord. I cloned my nes to snes and vice versa and use a dual boot setup.
