Do yourself a favor and find a way to justify getting an M1 mac over an Intel based one. I am blown away by the battery life. It's like a phone. You can literally leave the charger at home and get work done all day. Of course, Chromebooks can do this, but a Mac can run real applications, and the M1/2 processors are insanely fast.
