Minimum wage earners will buy these and have to work more than 32 hours to pay for them.....and then tell everyone else the minimum wage needs to be increased so they can afford rent :(
I bought these when they came out on 10-30 for $249. Today I saw them on apples website in the veteran pricing for $224. I called Apple and they have a 14 day price protection and are refunding me $25
I have these, I think the noise canceling is surprising good for the size and form factor! The only thing I wish they had were foam tips rather than the silicone ones. Every pair of wireless earbuds I’ve owned with silicone tips never felt comfortable.

What state do you live in that pays $7.80/hr as minimum wage?
The vast majority of people I know with these are entitled millennial man-bun sporting aholes still sponging off their parents and whining about how boomers have wrecked everything.
The airpods are awesome and work very well, and these can only be better in terms of functionality and expanded use cases.
However.
In my experience with the past airpods, depending on how much you use them, the batteries and maximum volume degrade significantly after a couple years. After losing an earbud and getting a replacement one after a couple years of use, the volume difference between the new one and old made the pair unusable for anything other than podcasts in one ear. The entire soundstage was so shifted toward the new bud that I couldn't tell the old one was even putting sound out.
Just FYI. The real cost of these otherwise awesome functioning buds is both battery and max audio volume over time, making these a $250 investment every couple of years. And if you lose one, just replace them both at the same time.
