This is the way smart plugs need to be designed and not block both outlets. It is a great price for a smart outlet. I have one of these behind each Christmas tree to automatically turn it on at night... And several lamps come on at sunset and go off at 11PM each night to make the house looked lived in... (And at the end of the day, they ALL can be turned off with one voice command)

alexa charged my wrogn credit card and shipped to my wrong address. I still needed to log in to fix it. Its a good price, but using alexa to buy **** is stupid.

I have had one of these for several years. It works well. I use it this time of year to control the Christmas tree lights. you can say "Alexa turn of the damn Christmas tree" and it works.
