It's worth paying the extra $5 for Ultra Platinum. Project Farm on YouTube has a good video testing various full-syn oils. Ultra Platinum was the best, if I recall correctly.

Just change your oil every 5k mi or so, and buy whatever lets you sleep better at night. For me t hat's just to DIY the oil change instead of risking some shop grunt doing the unthinkable.
