Why are we still making alkaline batteries? They are single use and horrible for the environment.

^ I've built a collection of Eneloop batteries over 3 years. The last battery I bought was at least 5 years ago. I have never had to get rid of an Eneloop.

I also use Eneloop batteries a lot, much cost effective compare with using single use batteries in the long term.

when kids and wife throw out rechargeables they don't pay for themselves. I have given up on rechargeables
