Is this subject to the Chase 5/24 rule? That is Chase will not approve you for any of its cards if you have already opened 5 (or more) credit card accounts in the last 24 months.

No idea why but Chase will never give me a card! I am 52 years old, have other cc's, good credit, house, etc but Chase always says NO....I do have the regular but would be nice to get the $150 one of these times. Always says about stuff on my credit report but there is nothing there when I pull it...just goofy.

Ymmv, but my prime card also gets 10% cash back on gas through the end of this year (up to $1500 spent so $150 back). Not sure if that's for all prime cards but could be worth looking into if you are on the fence.
