Wire gauge is 30AWG. Though these are short cables, the thin conductors are not desirable. True CAT6A cables will conduct most reliably at 22 - 26AWG. These are so thin because they want to emphasize and promote flexibility over conductivity. That's YOUR decision to make before a purchase.

^ Yeah I imagine if the cable is otherwise well constructed, shouldn't have a problem for 10Gb over only 7'.
